CHEST HEART AND STROKE SCOTLAND (CHSS)

We provide a range of services which meet the needs of people who have had a stroke which has resulted in communication difficulties.
The range of services offered across Dumfries and Galloway are:
Core Conversation Groups - to encourage and enable people to express their choices and opinions using a variety of ways of communicating.
Social Groups - providing communication support and to enable members to experience and enjoy social communication through activities.
Outreach Services - volunteers work with members on a one to one basis providing communication support. Helps to reduce social isolation.
Access to support services is by referral only - to Morag Halliday.
