The Scottish Health Council promotes Patient Focus and Public Involvement in the NHS Scotland. A key aspect of our local role is to support NHS Dumfries and Galloway to involve patients and the public in planning and delivery of NHS services and encourage members of the public to be involved in NHS service development.
